Comparing my blocking to already existing magazines

                                     

I based my design for the front cover of my magazine off of this NME front cover. There are a lot of similarities between the two covers like the positioning of the image, masthead, starburst and barcode/price. However I did change where the headline and pull quote position as I wanted to make the design of my cover page individual.

            

                    

          

I based my design for the front cover of my magazine off of this NME contents page. I based my contents page entirely off of this contents page as I thought that this design was appropriate to the genre of the magazine.
